NCEL Gets You..... Started / Better / Connected!

The 9th Annual NCEL Charity Shoot Out ~ Sporting Clays Classic will be held at the Minnesota Horse & Hunt Club in Prior Lake, MN.  Four-person shooting teams will compete for the coveted 'Destroyer of the Clays' trophy.  Registrants receive 100 clay targets, networking social, awards and raffle prizes (some donated) will be awarded during a buffet dinner. Event proceeds are directed towards a charity.

Who Registers:  A 'captain' can register one, four-person shooting team. 

 

Registration Fee:  $600.00 per Foursome

          Registration includes:  100 clay targets, 18 shooting stations, ear protection, liability waiver, bottled water on the course, beer and buffet BBQ dinner, networking social, awards and raffle/donated prize drawings.  Lunch is not provided, but is available at the facility.

 

Each Shooter Brings: Shotgun(s), ammo (4 boxes – 2 ¾ shells in 7.5, 8 or 9 shot), shooting vest/belt, shooting glasses, weather appropriate field and foot gear.  Gun rentals and shells are available onsite for a fee. Lunch is not included but is available at the facility.

 

Sponsorship & Prizes:  Each team is encouraged to donate an item for the raffle drawing. Event sponsors will also be donating some great prizes to be awarded at the social. Please visit the sponsorship page for information on sponsoring this and other events. 

 

Shotgun Raffle Board: At registration, participants will be able to purchase a square from 1 to 100 for a shotgun raffle board.  We will randomly draw a winning number for a Mossberg Silver Reserve II break action shotgun and case.  Must be present at the conclusion of our dinner to win and complete necessary paperwork registration.

 

Awards:  Trophies will be awarded for the following:

  • High Team Score (four shooter team):  Destroyer of the Clays
  • High Individual Score:  Conqueror of the Clays
  • Lowest Individual Score:  Preserver of the Clays

Shoot Out Agenda:

  • 11:30 AM:  Optional lunch is available (on your own) at Triggers Restaurant
  • 12:30 PM: Registration, liability waiver signing, voting for charity, clipboard pickup
  • 1:15 PM:  Format instruction, shooting tips, facility rules, and safety briefing
  • 1:30 PM:  Sporting clay shooting station rotations
  • 5:15 PM:  BBQ dinner & networking social, awards and raffle drawing

              Liability:  All registrants and participants at this event agree to hold harmless the North Central Electrical League, its affiliates, and vendors for any liabilities arising from this event.

  • The 2018 NCEL Shoot Out contributed $8,000 to the following charities:  Wounded Warriors Project, Feed My Starving Children, Hope Kids, Humor to Fight the Tumor, and Midwest Animal Rescue Services as our charity benefactors as voted on by the shooters.
  • The NCEL Charity Shoot Out has contributed $39,500 to charity during its eight-year run.
  • The 8th annual event boasted a third consecutive sold out crowd of 144 shooters.
  • Winner of the Gun Raffle -- a Mossberg Silver Reserve II break-action shotgun was Mark M.
  • Numerous prizes and merchandise were raffled off to lucky ticket holders.
  • Awesome weather and full participation contributed to the great success of the 8th Annual event.
