| 14 | NCEL Training: Medium Voltage Cable Preparation and Arc Flash Protection
No matter how efficiently and quickly the cable installation proceeds, if proper cable preparation is not adhered to cables will fail in addition to the potential arc flash hazards.
This two part class will first look at basic cable theory, the do’s and don’ts of cable preparation and how to install terminations, elbows and splices. The afternoon session will go over the new requirements for NFPA 70E for arc flash protection and safety.
